ISLAMABAD: Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar will conclude discussion on the Federal Budget for the fiscal year 2016-17 in Senate on Thursday.
The Minister will reply to various points raised by the Senators regarding the Federal Budget 2016-17.Meanwhile, Standing Committee of the Senate on Finance will present its recommendations regarding the Federal Budget 2016-17 on Thursday as well.
Senate Chairman MianRazaRabbani informed the Members during the session on Wednesday that the Standing Committee of the Senate on Finance was giving final shape to its recommendations and it would be presented in the House on Thursday.The Senate concluded debate on the Federal Budget on Wednesday and the Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Senator NajmaHameed termed it public welfare budget. She also praised the relief package announced in the budget for the development of agriculture sector.
